The Suitcase Tree
Filip Marinovich, author of The Suitcase Tree, writes: “I started writing a book based on a failed trip to Belgrade where I was supposed to stay for a month but only could stay four days due to breakdown insomnia grief mind voices. Went back to New York and listened to the book stop start. Then my uncle died. In the book we had the conversation I couldn’t have with him in Belgrade.”
